Charlotte Pierce is a New York-based visual artist that works primarily in drawing and painting. She received her BA in Studio Art and Neuroscience & Behavior from Wesleyan University, and is currently an MD candidate at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.

Coming from a family of artists, she was introduced to art in early childhood, and has been drawing and creating ever since. Her art and subject matter are greatly influenced by her strong attention to detail and love for recreating it through a meticulous, calculated process. She is also drawn to the use of color and unexpected perspectives to obstruct a sense of familiarity within the subject matter she depicts. She is especially drawn to oil painting as a medium that allows for photo-realistic depiction, but with the freedom to enliven or deconstruct.

All pieces are for sale, with commissioned works upon request.
